Andrzej Kaleta

Andrzej Kaleta

Andrzej Kaleta was awarded the academic title of the Professor of Economics on 7 January 2014. He gave lectures at the Wrocław University of Economics as a full professor. In 2002, he became the head of the Strategic Management at the Department of Economics. In April 2016, he was chosen as the President of the University of Economics in Wrocław for the years 2016 – 2020. He specializes in small-scale industry economics, industrial policy, competition strategy and strategic management. He is the author of around 180 publications, he organised the academic conference “Strategic management in theory and practice”. He is a member of the Committee of Organisation and Management Theories of the Polish Academy of Sciences (PAN) for 2015 – 2018. Since November 2017 - a member of the Supervisory Board of Impel S.A.

 

Mr Andrzej Kaleta is not involved in any other competitive activities, he is not a partner of a competitive partnership or board member of a competitive joint-stock company and is not engaged in any competitive legal entity as its board member. He is not included in the register of insolvent debtors (RDN) kept under the Law on the National Court Register (KRS).

 

Józef Biegaj

Member of the Supervisory Board and the Audit Committee

Co-founder and main shareholder of Impel S.A. (partially through Trade Bridge Czechy a.s.) In 1999-2001, Member of the Supervisory Board of Impel S.A., from 2001 to 2005, President of the Management Board of Impel Security Polska Sp. z o.o. (currently Impel Facility Services Sp. z o.o., after the company was merged with Impel Cleaning Sp. z o.o.) From 2005 until 28 June 2014, he was Vice President of the Management Board of Impel S.A. for trade&commerce. As of 2007, Mr Józef Biegaj has had a seat in the Supervisory Board of Vantage Development S.A. and Volleyball Wrocław S.A. (as of July 2016). As of 2012, Member of the Council of the Kraina Siatkówki Foundation (formerly Młoda Gwardia Foundation). Mr Józef Biegaj graduated from the Faculty of the Construction of Mining and Smelting Machinery at the AGH University of Science and Technology in Kraków. Since August 2014 - a member of the Supervisory Board of Impel S.A.

Stefan Forlicz

Member of the Supervisory Board

Mr Stefan Forlicz graduated in electronic engineering and automatization from the Wrocław University of Science and Technology. In 1973-2006, he worked at the Wrocław University of Economics (head of the Mathematical Economics Chair at the Economic Institute). He gained PhD in economics (Polish titles: doktor and doktor habilitowany). In 1996 he became professor. Mr Stefan Forlicz also gave lectures at the Economics and Regional Research Chair at the Management and Production Engineering Department, the Opole University of Technology. He contributed to establishment of the WSB Universities (President from 1998). He also was the head of Quantitative Research and in 2013 the head of Economics Institute at WSB. In 2013, he received the Doctor Honoris Causa degree from the Dnipropetrovsk National Mining University. His scientific interests include widely understood economics, in particular econometrics and statistics, mathematical economics, information economics and microeconomics. Since June 2017 - a member of the Supervisory Board of Impel S.A.

Andrzej Malinowski

Member of the Supervisory Board

Andrzej MalinowskiSince 2001, the President of Pracodawcy Rzeczypospolitej Polskiej (Polish Employer Organisation). Mr Andrzej Malinowski worked in governmental administration, performing, among others, the functions of Undersecretary of State at the Ministry of Internal Trade and Services and Undersecretary of State at the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Economy. In 1996, entrusted by the Prime Minister with the function of plenipotentiary for the organisation of the Ministry of Economy, where he then became the Secretary of State. The co-author of the conceptual and operational framework of the Ministry of Economy that has operated under this model till this day. Member of the Polish Parliament, Deputy Chairman of the Foreign Economic Relations Commission. He was a manger in commercial partnerships and companies. Member of the Polish parliamentary delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe. He chaired BIAC Polska - the Business and Industry Advisory Committee to the OECD. Member of the National Council for European Integration and representative of Polish employers at the European Economic and Social Committee. In 2005, Mr Andrzej Malinowski was elected the first Vice President of the European Organization of Public Sector Employers. He also represents Pracodawcy RP at the International Organization of Employers (IOE). Since 2013, a participant of the B20's Infrastructure and Investment Taskforce (the B20 - a group of business leaders providing recommendations to the G20). Since 1 January 2014, the Chairman of the International Coordinating Council of Employers' Unions (ICCEU). A member of the Supervisory Board of Marvipol Development S.A., British Automotive Holding S.A., British Automotive Polska S.A., Exact Systems S.A., OT Logistics S.A. Mr Andrzej Malinowski graduated from the Poznań University of Economics and was awarded a Ph.D. degree in Economics. Since January 2002 - a member of the Supervisory Board of Impel S.A.

Piotr Urbańczyk

Member of the Supervisory Board and Chairman of the Audit Committee

Piotr UrbańczykSince October 2016 President of the Board of BEST TFI S.A., an experienced manager in banking sector. Before joining BEST Group, he worked for Meritum Bank SA, where since 2009 he oversaw the process of establishing and developing a stable financial institution operating as part of consumer finance business. At Meritum Bank, he was a Vice President responsible for Finance Department (including accounting, planning and budgeting tasks) and in 2001-2013, he was the President of the Board overseeing finance, risk and operations departments. After 5 years from the beginning of the Meritum Bank banking project, in 2014, he reached the second position in the banking sector in relation to return on equity (ROE) levels. His banking career started in 1992 in Bank Zachodni S.A., (now operating under the name BZ WBK) where he worked as the Treasury Department Manager in 1994-1998 – responsible for treasury, dealing room, settlements of own and customers' banking operations, financial markets and issuing of corporate bonds. In 1998-2000, he was Member of the Management Board of Lukas Bank S.A. responsible for treasury, budgeting, financial planning and liquidity. In 2001-2006 he worked on another banking project, supporting Merrill Lynch group’s private equity fund. At Dominet Bank, he held a position of the Vice President, responsible for wide range of finance, accounting, reporting and capital markets issues. After acquisition of Dominet Bank by Fortis, in 2007-2009, he worked for Fortis financial group. Piotr Urbańczyk has been a member of numerous supervisory boards, including: Historical Musem of the City of Gdańsk (2017), Kredyt Inkaso S.A. (Dec 2015 – Sep 2016), football club Lechia Gdańsk, Meritum Services S.A., (2009—2015). In 1992, he graduated from Wroclaw University of Economics (Faculty of Organization and Management). Since August 2008 - a member of the Supervisory Board of Impel S.A.

Tadeusz Więckowski

Member of the Supervisory Board

Tadeusz WięckowskiProfessor Tadeusz Więckowski, Rector of the Wrocław University of Science and Technology for two terms (2008-2016) is currently the head of Telecommunication and Teleinformatics Department at the Faculty of Electronics and a member of the Board and the Honorary President of the Conference of Rectors of Polish Universitie sof Science and Technology (KRPUT). Tadeusz Więckowski was nominated professor of technical sciences in 2002. In 2006, he was nominated full professor of the Wrocław University of Science and Technology. In his research, he deals with methods of research of electromagnetic compatibility of devices, systems and installations, with a particular focus on intersystem compatibility of telecommunication and teleinformatic installations. Author of over 170 studies, 6 patent applications and patents as well as over 500 studies on economy and various applications. Professor T. Więckowski was decorated with the Officer’s Cross of the Order of Polonia Restituta, Golden and Silver Cross of Merit and the Medal of Commission of National Education. He twice won the Price of the Prime Minister of Poland. He is a doctor honoris causa of the Lviv Polytechnic National University (2011), Moscow Power Engineering Institute (2014) and the National Mining University in Dnipropetrovsk (2015). Honorary professor of Obuda University in Budapest (2011), Honorary Consul of AGH University of Science and Technology (2018).

As confirmed in his statement, the Member of the Supervisory Board of Impel S.A. is independent.
